Morning Coffee
24" x 24" Acrylic painting on plywood by Buford P. Fuddwhacker

Morning Coffee

This is a painting of Ed and Velma. Ed's real inersted in the mornin paper. He ain't a payin too much attenshun to his wife, Velma, whose gotten used to this mornin routine. Ed's a chameleon. He goes to work in a office where he usually says what his boss wants to hear. He spends most of his time in a 8x8 cubicle where he stays real bizzy doin real important stuff. Folks don't pay much notice to Ed cawse he blends in like a comfy piece of furniture.

That there cat in the window's my cat Tabasco. I stuck him in the painting as a decoration. Tabasco's my good buddy. He follers me arownd the howse and watches me paint. Mostly he's either sleepin or lickin his fur, preparin his next hairball, which I'll probly step on in my bare feet tomorrow mornin before I drink my mornin coffee.
